Microsoft Surface Demo

Here’s a short video showing some of what Microsoft Surface can do.

I watched the demo and the whole thing was laboured – the table lag was dictating the speed of the presentation and was WAAAY more clunky than the kind of response we have come to expect on our laptops and desktops.
And did you spot the sellthrough – the RFid chips that you could buy and attach to objects so the table knows what they are…
Verdict – more trouble than its worth in the forseeable future.
