MathsFrame IWB Resources
Here’s a nice website for Primary teachers to use in their maths lessons.
Mathsframe.co.uk was created by a primary school teacher who “thought it ridiculous that he spent most of his Sunday evenings searching for resources to use on his interactive whiteboard”. So he made his own resources instead.
Their aim is to provide simple, high quality maths resources for interactive whiteboards. To make resources that allow for effective differentiation and progression, and to make planning easier (and less time consuming) for teachers.
All the actvities are clear and simple to use and understand. They are designed as tools for teachers to use to teach. All activities are linked to a key objective/objectives from the Primary Framework. They are ideal for reinforcing and practicing the key mathematical skills and concepts.

There are free resources on the site here. If you like them, you can buy a site licence for a pack of resources and install them onto your own machines.
It’s well worth adding to your list of bookmarks for those times when you need something to use for a lesson starter or plenary.

MirandaMod Blogging Special
If you are in London on 19th June, and have an interest in teacher blogging, then the MirandaMod Blogging conference may well be something you should attend.
It’s a free event held at the Institute of Education in London.
There are three parts to this participative CPD experience. Participants can attend all three to gain a wide overview of blogging, or just one or two of the sessions. The aim is to conclude with a collaborative resource that will help other teachers to understand the blogging landscape.
