Thanks Hall and Dave. I forget to play with Smart Ideas that much. And yeah, the personal version of Active Inspire is quite useful. That’s even allowed to be used on other boards. I do need to have a play with the ebeam software too.

You also can run eBeam (luidia) software from home for free without a licence – just press continue when the dialogue box comes up. Promethean also have a free version (personal) of active inspire for teachers (in Australia at least) who don’t have access to a licence key.

You also get a free licence for Smart Ideas as well. Download, register using school serial and off you go with free mind mapping software. Also be aware that if you have Airliner Slates then one serial will cover your whole school.
