Teaching Videos

Posted on Jan 18, 2010 in Interactive Whiteboards, Resources | 0 comments

Teaching Videos is a great new free website from Mark Warner – you may know him from other educational websites such as Ideas to Inspire, Display Photos, and Teaching Ideas.

Teaching Videos is intended to be a place where teachers and view and share educational videos that can be used in the classroom. Whilst you can browse Youtube, Vimeo or Google Video to find a wide range of videos, Teaching Videos allows you to see videos which other teachers have recommended as suitable for education. In the future you will also be able to register and add videos to the database yourself!

The site is just starting out, and is beginning to grow. It will be well worth keeping an eye on it, and checking it out when you are looking for videos to use in the classroom. http://www.teachingvideos.co.uk/

Please be aware that some school networks might block Youtube or other embedded videos, so check this before your lesson!
