Good point Danny and it has been taken on board. In fact, in the October 2010 release of Easiteach you will no longer need to set the cursor as previously described. You will be able to simply paste using the Paste button as you suggested.

Thanks for the comments, it's always tricky with a pre-release version. Glad to hear Glass mode will be there.

And managed to get pasting an image to work. I just feel there shouldn't need to be a "trick" to get something so basic to happen. Pasting an image into a "text" box is not something the average user would ever try. Maybe just provide a Paste button on the toolbar which lets you do this - it's there, just greyed out.

Looking forward to seeing the final version.

Hi, I am the Education Consultant for RM in Asia Pacific. Just to let you know that both desktop capture and annotation will be available in the release later this year. Both these functions will be achieved through Glass Mode. Users of the current Easiteach will be familiar will be Glass mode.

Also it is possible to copy and paste currently from an external source. The trick is to set a cursor where you would like the object pasted using the text box tool.

I hope this helps and thanks for your feedback!
