Studyjams – Science and Maths resources

Posted on Nov 4, 2010 in Numeracy Resources, Science Resources, Useful Links | 0 comments

StudyJams is a superb collection of over 200 free learning resource collections from Scholastic.

The site includes videos, slideshows and more for many different topics within Science and Maths. Each Jam includes a teaching video or slide show on the topic, gives the key vocabulary, and also has a  “test yourself” section where they can see how much they can remember.

It’s geared towards American schools from the look of it, but many of the topics will also be useful for UK Schools. Resources look useful for KS3 but could also have a place in KS2 or KS4.

You can find StudyJams here: http://studyjams.scholastic.com

Thanks to Kelly Tenkley over at iLearn Technology for the heads up about StudyJams.
