Men In Primary – update

Posted on Feb 8, 2011 in Useful Links | 1 comment

Back in October, I wrote about an initiative that was trying to attract more men into becoming primary school teachers. This involved the production of three films celebrating and promoting Men in Primary Schools. The films were shown at several events in London last year.

If you are interested, those films are now available online on YouTube. You can view them here.

  1. I am a mature male who spent 3 years under Canterbury Christ Church doing a Primary PGCE – until they failed me. I remain so angry at the lack of support and poor quality treatment I received. One day I will calm down and wite about my experiences .. but at the moment I am too busy building a new life in business and to be honest my enduring rage at my treatment is far more likely at present to result in incoherency than a constructive narrative. But hey, all I need to see is my money as a taxpayer being used to make nice videos when the reality is so different ..
