Science teachers should already know that the Association for Science Education (ASE) are holding their annual conference at Reading University on 5th – 8th January 2011.

I will be speaking on the Friday at 11.30. HUMSS, G27.  I’ll be talking about Ideas for Using your Interactive Whiteboard in Science.  I’ll be demonstrating lots of ideas for adding interactivity plus useful websites that all science teachers should have bookmarked.

Getting the Most from Your Interactive Whiteboards in Science – T098

This session will demonstrate practical ways that you can use the features of your interactive whiteboard to support teaching and learning in Science. It will include ideas for lesson starters, plenaries plus suggestions of free websites that can be used on your IWB.Danny delivers IWB training to schools, the MOD and businesses. The session will focus on Promethean and Smart Boards, but the skills should be transferable to other brands.
