America’s National Institute of Aerospace (NIA) and Promethean Planet have joined forces to engage student’s interests in science and inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers. NIA is a non-profit research and graduate education institute created to conduct leading-edge aerospace and atmospheric research, develop new technologies for the American nation and help inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers.

The NIA resources include short relevant video segments created for NASA, Engineering Design Packets for both elementary and secondary education, Guide Lites, downloadable images, interactive activities, animations and much more. All of the resources have been designed to help teachers bring excitement into the classroom.  You can access all the NIA resources here.

A load of new videos have just been added to this resource area. You can see all the videos here.

There are resources of interest to Science teachers of both Primary and Secondary level (K-12). Many of the resources will work on any brand of IWB, so you don’t need Promethean ActivInspire to open them.
