On 6th September 2010, a new version of the TES Resources website was launched, making it easier for teachers to find and use some of the brightest lesson ideas posted online by the teaching community.

TES Resources is one of the biggest websites in the UK made up of content that is created by its user community. Teachers can access the site to download and share more than 50,000 free resources to freshen up their teaching and add colour to the classroom.  Those tools that are rated most highly by other teachers appear at the top of the targeted search so in just three clicks, a teacher can find exactly the right resource.

For example – here’s a Lesson Starter Generator: “120 starters all in one place! The Starter Generator has enough starters for you to shake a stick at. All come with pictures to aid recall and enjoyment and are explained, often with examples. Nearly all are generic and can be used across subjects.”

To access the resources you will need to sign up for a login, but it’s free to do so.
