A quick post to say that I have uploaded a revised guide to getting started with Promethean ActivExpression in ActivInspire. With a recent update the Question Wizard has gone and been replaced with a Question Manager.
There’s quite an important box that needs to be ticked to get a question onto the page which isn’t ticked by default. Read the guide and then have a go for yourself.

I have read your guide and have a question about assigning students to devices. Have you done this for multiple classes during the day successfully using the student database? I have tried in the past and ended up with the expressions maintaining the first set of student’s names and then not using the next period and so on. Finally, I just had to rename them all and start inserting a question that asks the student their name. Summary, I have found the student database not useful or functional at all.
I haven’t tried it with Expression, and always found it very awkward with the older ActiVote. Have you tried allocating to students using PIN method?
Sometimes I just find it easier to stick to anonymous voting.
