I’ve just found out that there will be another TeachMeet Takeover (and Kidsmeet Takeover) at next year’s Bett show. If you are unaware, a Takeover is where a company who is exhibiting at Bett very kindly gives up part of their stand for 30 minutes so that a teacher or group of children, can share some ideas about anything at all. This is usually a free tool or idea and it should be something that can be easily replicated in the classroom.

I’ve taken part in a couple of these and always found them to be great fun. It’s a great way of bringing some of the Teachmeet ethos down into the bear pit that is the sales areas of BETT.

If you are a company exhibiting at BETT and would be willing to give up 30 mins to let someone else talk on your stand, please sign up. If you are a teacher who wants to share something cool you’ve been doing – then please sign up as a presenter.

All the details are on Ian Addison’s blog, so go take a look and go visit the wiki to sign up.
