Launched at BETT 2019, Prowise World of Education is a suite of interactive maths tools for Primary and Secondary schools. Students can work at their own pace and at their own level of proficiency, their progress being tracked and reported to their teacher. The site covers maths skills as well as aspects of coding and more. And it’s free to try out for the rest of the year!

The site uses an innovative adaptive system that has been developed by the University of Amsterdam and is already being used in schools across the Netherlands and beyond. This system automatically adjusts the difficulty of maths exercises to the ability level of a user. All users, from beginners to advanced, receive items matched to their ability level.

The admin centre allows for classes, teachers and students to be added. Students can then log in on any device at home or at school and practise the various maths exercises. They can track their own results through a digital progress card.

The teacher dashboard provides a useful monitoring system, showing how their class is doing. Who is working at the expected level, and who is above/below expectations. Expected level can be changed depending on the age or ability of the class.

Prowise World of Education is free to try out for the rest of 2019. Should you like it, and want to continue then the price will be £1 per user per year from January 2020. It’s well worth signing up and trying it out. Learn more via the World of Education website.
