Now back with loads of photos from my skiing holiday last week, I thought I’d have another play with Animoto and make a full length movie. I think the end result is pretty good, and not bad for $3, especially with the exchange rate at the moment.
Animoto Again

Very cool Danny. It looks really professional.
You’ve just inspired me to try this with my ICT club. Might send the children around the school to take digital photos… they can then make an Animoto video with them.
Cheers!
Thanks David, I am still really impressed at how good the end product looks, especially since its a very automated process.
What I like about Animoto is that they’ve created something totally different from anything else I’ve seen on the Internet.
Your movie came out awesome!
Thanks for sharing!

Hey Danny. You’d better consider biting the bullet and paying up the $30 to make as many full-length Animoto’s as you want in a year. I did that last summer, and have not regretted it. You can check out some of the fun I’ve had with family photos here: http://digitalstuff.pbwiki.com/
Unfortunately, as an itinerant I’ve got no class, but I have seen some terrific classroom applications as well.

Hi Danny,
Rebecca here from Animoto. Thanks for the write-up! We actually just recently launched a brand new site for our education initiative. Be sure to check it out:
